28th Birthday: The day after
I hear a protein shake after a hard night of drinking is good for you. Tonight I test that theory.
I really didn’t get all that messed up out at the bars tonight. The three of us, Sgt Hill, Sgt Lynn, and I grabbed some chow at a local greasy spoon, called Lonestar, with good chips and salsa. They have a unique tradition where the birthday person wears a big foam rubber cowboy hat and the servers sing happy birthday. Well, I apparently got too caught up in the moment because I got in trouble for “riding the pony” during the festivities. It was worth it.
Following dinner at Lonestar’s, the three of us ventured to Bare Fax, Ottawa’s premier strip club where cover charge is cheap, you’re not required to tip the girls on stage, and hands-off lap dance are only $10 Canadian (so goes the rumor). A good time was had by all. I may also add that, while staring intently as T&A on stage, both my sister Sara and my good buddy Dale called me from the U.S. to wish me a happy birthday. It was good to go. I was a happy man.
I retire now to my rack where I recover from the alcohol I’ve consumed in the last few hours. It has been a good night with friends, booze, and hot chics rubbing their booties in my face on stage. I will sleep well.
This is Staff Sergeant Kohler, signing off.
